WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING

Our annual meeting was held on February 18, 2010 at the the Holiday on Highland Beach.  We had a smaller turnout than usual, and lively discussion on many issues. To see the minutes of the meeting please click on Documents.  To see the bio of the new board please click on Meet the Board.   Did you know that Savannah Flak played Sister Bernice in the Sound of Music at the Delray Beach Playhouse. She was terrific in her role and we hope to see her on Broadway someday. Jim Saturday was a very proud dad when his son was inducted into the honor society March 9th. We had some sad news as well when we heard that Grant Mayer’s dog Peaches drowned. His dog Rocco is still well and helping to console Grant.  We understand that emergency and critical pet care services have seen increased numbers of pets with neurological signs – possibly associated with iguanas. Many of these pets have been in direct contact with iguanas that have died from illness and/or cold weather. It is suspected that these pets ingested botulism toxin from iguana carcasses. If any of your pets show signs of the following, please bring them to the nearest medical facility for evaluation.
Signs to watch for: Rapid onset (hours to 2 days) of weakness that may start in hind limbs and progress to forelimbs. Signs include but are not limited to: Difficulty walking, Falling Down, Dragging hind limbs or crawling, Difficulty breathing, Unexpected death.

UPCOMING EVENT

If you are leasing your home let us know the name(s) of your tenants and the term of their lease.
